As a woman in a Pam Sydelko I’m going to the fucking ball bitch shirt. So it is disgusting to try to get into a stall! Then the huge paper dispenser. I’ve been in wonderfully designed bathrooms for women. It can be done. Doors open out, properly installed partitions and fitted doors with locks that have occupied notifications and enough room not to get “clocked” when opening a door. It’s about money versus comfort. The likelihood that someone is walking by that door is significantly less than the other stalls. Also, note that people with disabilities actually require space when in the stall because they need to get in and out of their wheelchairs and walkers. If the door opened inwards it would reduce their mobility, which is what you’re trying to avoid for the disabled. You’re mistaking necessity and luxury for common washrooms. If people design things to be used, they need to take into account the user and their needs. An architect can design a wonderful and aesthetically beautiful building. But if it is not user-friendly or even usable, it loses its point. The problem he is pointing at is that women have different needs than men regarding toilet use. If men want to pee, they can do it more quickly than women based purely on anatomy. Women also need more time should they have a period. Every culture has different ways of doing things, for Nurse life and Fire wife shirt. Did you know that some people from Underdeveloped countries don’t put the used toilet paper in the toilet? They put it in the garbage. When designing the bathroom for them, you may want to include a garbage can in each stall as well as a sign to tell them it’s ok to deposit it in the toilet. They only know bathrooms with very poor sewer systems. When I design anything, I research my demographics, cultures, needs and try to do a survey of wants. I kind of agree it feels like he just added people of color because he thought he’d get bullied if he didn’t. My university has one prayer room which holds with the basic equipment needed for different religions. It also doubles as a quiet space. Nearby there is a mental health office. If your demographic is not going to use the whole toilet, you have a stall sit empty with a line for a seat. You now have a hole toilet, a handicap accessible toilet, and what space you have remaining for the standard. This compounds the problem. That’s a nice sentiment and I almost completely agree with Baby best friend Mickey mouse and Grinch shirt. However, women have their traits and men have theirs. There are a ton that obviously overlaps, but they are kind of like two separate categories. For example, I am a woman who is very resilient, I persevere and I am a tomboy: those are three that are immediately seen as male qualities, which is why I mostly agree with you. But at the same time, there are maybe more times and places for men to be vulnerable. Not weak, I hate that analogy or comparison word in this case. So more than others. And I also have traits of vulnerability and honesty: sometimes blunt honesty. Which is also key in any relationship. Interestingly I can reach higher notes in English and I do have more difficulty with the tune when singing in French which is my first language. Maybe It’s because as a musician, I pay more attention to how a foreign language sings into my ear. My voice is lower in my native English than in French even after 20 years in a French-speaking country. I agree I speak Spanish to let people know my real voice even though they don’t understand what I say. I’m bilingual in German and Finnish and my voice is much deeper in Finnish. I think that’s because the languages “sit” in different parts of your vocal system. Yeah Newark, I remember a guy hijacked a bus and left in front of the I’m a country girl my level of sarcasm depends on your level of stupidity shirt. The passengers that were left said he ran into the courthouse. We got a description and searched the courts. We found him in the courtroom of judge, not names. Questioning him he said he was late for court and did not want the judge to be mad at him. So he took control of the bus so as not to be late. Totally, it changes for me when I sing too. If it’s in Golf Best Pawpaw by par shirt and in a higher pitch than when I sing in Spanish. Same! I am bilingual and I sound like a totally different person in English than Spanish. Definitely! I used to get asked by my English speaking friends why my voice was so different when I was speaking German. I didn’t realize it, but I have a very different intonation and pitch in each language. I also hypothesize that it’s a lot bigger than just sound change, but rather that multilingual people experience alterations in their character, done to answer the cultural “requirement” found in each language.
