Boys are just like that because they are born that way! Perfectionism in girls may have biological roots too. But males and females are not that different and I believe we have to go beyond our biology. Or social conditioning or whatever it may be, to grow as people. We also have to socialize our boys to accept brave, imperfect women. It is a two-way street. If a woman applies for a job only 50% qualified. So the men and women reviewing the applications will be more likely to rejects hers and accept the male applicant with the same qualifications. The deficit is not solely due to the actions and behavior of the socialized girls.
