That classmate and I took it to heart and no one told us different and it changed our views of school for the remaining years. We started out near to the top and pretty much ended up towards the bottom. As an adult, I now know we should not have taken it. Indeed needed in our society. My son never bagged good grades and some of his teachers really tried to make him feel like crap especially maths and science teachers instead of helping they comment in beginning and now he is totally lost his interest in it. Unknown to them, my 13 years. The unfocused, distracted boy already started living in his own world. My Loving caring, well disciplined and the kind-hearted young man had given up. I hope people watch your post and gain strength to defend their kids.

But guides the learners and facilitates their learning process by sharing to them widely conceptualized information they need at the present and for their future. Grades are only part and parcel of the entire learning process evaluated to determine learners’ intuition. I don’t speak in general, but my personal opinion. I think more teachers need to think outside the square. And try to work out what the children interested in. They need to show an interest in the child and make learning more interesting. I am a Preschool teacher. And always looked at different ways to interest a child in learning and taking part in activities. While I completely agree with the message of following your passion. And not letting exam grades stop you, I am really disheartened by the portrayal of teachers. The truth is very few teachers will ever judge a child by his or her grades.
